At Girard Rubber our reputation as an industry leader in custom rubber products is built on a history of quality and innovation that spans well over half a century. Our commitment to customer service has led to the steady expansion of our manufacturing capabilities, providing clients with a single source solution. Our U.S. facility is geared for ultra-high precision processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, and die cutting; we also offer offshoring options with trusted partners in Japan, Taiwan, and China. This combination of internal and external resources allows us to develop the optimal solution regardless of production volume, schedule, or design complexity.
We specialize in the manufacturing of products such as gaskets “O” rings, seals, pump impellers, and virtually any type of small precision part composed of a rubber compound. However, our service offerings go well beyond manufacturing of rubber parts and components. As a full-service manufacturer, we also offer design support, complete assembly, JIT shipping, and the application of lubricious coatings such as PTFE.
Because of the diversity of our customer base, we provide all required testing for full compliance with some of the most stringent standards, including ASTM D2000/SAE J200, and various Mil-Specs/Mil-STDs. We operate a quality department that is equipped with fully automated dimensional testing systems that provide hyper-accurate feature inspections.
Our quality team understands well that dimensional accuracy means little if the rubber compound is out of spec. To verify all material aspects, we provide compound testing in the form of specific gravity testing for compound analysis, and the use of a Curelastometer to verify compound characteristics, all of which are aligned with PPAP standards.
The diversity of our capabilities and resources are a key element of our success as a manufacturer, which is supported by a culture of quality that permeates our entire organization. Our entire team adheres to Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, utilizing a robust quality program that includes Kaizen and 5S events to continually enhance our overall efficiency. Our commitment is further exhibited by the ISO 9001:2015 certification of our U.S. facility and the ISO compliant status of our Asian partners.
